At Austin Indie Fest we truly want to see your BEST and WORST films!

We figure it this way: if you can win an award for your WORST film... well that may be just the thing you need to go out there and make your BEST!!!

What   kind   of   films   are   we   looking   for?

All of them!  Okay, may not alllllllll, but pretty much anything made by an Independent film maker that has NOT received status as an official "First Time Film Maker" (which means you've sold and distributed a film through a major studio).

Feature Films, Short Films, Music Videos, Trailers, Television & Web series Pilots and Virtual Reality/360 films are good!

We're looking for Student Films, Indie Films,  International Films and films Made in Texas.  Good AND Bad!!!
We also want films made by Veterans and/or Women as a part of their leadership team.

* Worst films are a SEPARATE CATEGORY and you must want your films to be considered in this category in order to compete in it.   Don't worry - we won't judge your good films here!
